Hopped in the Kettle with Nelson and Motueka. Then dry hoped with more Nelson and Motueka, followed by a double dose of subzero hop keif- Nelson and Rakau. Citrus, melon and stone fruit are front and center, held up by a delicate, lean malt presence that lands somewhere between a hazy IPA and a westie.

Can pour from trade with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! Hazy yellow with nice sparkle, nice head with excellent retention and nice lacing. Aroma is strong grape, stone fruit, milder citrus. Taste is grape, fruit. Smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste.

Canned 2/19/24, drunk 4/2/24, thanks to AirForceHops for the can! Top portion of the can (at least) is only very gently hazy. Light lemon-golden with a full, well-retained, white head. Nose is all Motueka...juicy fruits galore with playful tropical yellow fruits, moderate guava and lots of nectarine and mango. Gives way to a bit of white wine/white grape and is backed by ample, honey-like maltiness with no resin/pine, alcohol or weird yeast. Quite clean and snappy. Juicy, with a light undercurrent of bitterness in the form of limey, guava-laced white grape. Light mineral, plentiful tangerine, papaya, pomelo and plentiful malt to balance (honey-like). Clean and juicy with a bit of earth and chalky bitterness, perhaps from the Nelson? Added the crap from the bottom to the last half of the glass and it, unsurprisingly, got a lot thicker/hazier. I think the flavor evens out some, with less punchy papaya/pineapple, but still less spice/mineral character than I'd prefer and dangerously low on bitterness. Excellent maltiness and attenuation, as is the norm with this brewer.

Draught at Jtown: pours somewhat hazy yellow with white head. Aroma is tropical fruit and berries. Taste is juicy. Really captures the NZ hop character. Very slight bitterness.
