A supremely drinkable dark lager, kissed with the essence of our favorite digestif. We blended a fresh dark lager with one that has been aged on oak and a blend of spices from Vigo Amaro. The spice blend is delicately balanced with the flavor of the beer, adding depth and aroma without either one dominating the other. We brewed it as a three-way collab between Human Robot, Di Bruno Brothers, and Philadelphia Distilling.

Can, courtesy of mansquito. Pours black. Biscuit, toast, herbal, cardamom, mint. Medium body. Decent.

Draught at schuykill banks: pours mahogany with off white head. Aroma is malty, spiciness. Taste is malty, light spicy bite. Not very bitter.

16oz can pours a clear rootbeer brown with some clingy white head. Nose has malt, light baking spices, some soggy pumpernickel. Flavor has malt and a little anise. Dry finish. Well made.

16 ounce can from Jenkintown brewery. Number one with a bullet. Mahogany brown color. Frothy tan head. Light roasted malt aroma. Notes of cocoa, cola nuts and cinnamon. Flavor follows nose. Hints of dried plums and cocoa upfront. Lightly dry and bitter. A bit of oakiness lingers on the backend. Light and refreshing.
