This collaboration with Fox Farm Brewery of Salem, Connecticut is the
next offering in the Stowe Style series: a new world take on a classic Bavarian-style Weissbier. Brewed with wheat from Thrall Family Malt, and dry-hopped with HBC 586 hops, this hop-forward hefeweizen is hazy blonde in color with notes of citrus, spice, tropical fruit, and bread dough with a dry and effervescent finish.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to weizen glass.
Appearance: golden yellow/copper color with a subtle cloudiness but also not so cloudy; three finger white foamy head which took it's time to dissipate then leave some light lace
Aroma: some hefe features of the "banana, clove & sweet wheaty" whiffs but then a great backing of citrusy to piney hops with some hop oils
Flavor: though oddly combined, I believe I get what's going on and see how well this does blend the "hefe" features with those hops; finishes dry with some of hop bitterness, a touch of the hop oils and a little bit of sweet wheat
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable - somewhat; some smoothness but there's no wheat kick but I believe I get that and am okay without it.
Overall: the very first time I had this I thought it wasn't very good but the second time I had it about a week later, I got what was going on and realized what I was dealing with so after the second time I realized I would come back to this beer.

16 ounce can from brewery. Hazy, yellow gold pour. Big, rocky white head. Spotty lacing. Yeasty, bready, wheat malt aroma. Flavor is tangy, sweet and earthy with a wonderful wheat essence. Fresh, floral and flavorful.

16 oz can. Aroma is lemons and soft milled grain. Flavor has a honey and bread malt backbone. Pops come off like lemon and soft, floral notes. Hints of pear and apples. Fi ish is very clean. I donβt know where the hell these people are getting bubble gum / banana from because itβs NOT here.

Tip Tap draught, 7/30/23. Sparklingly clear (?) Golden. Small, well-retained, white head. Fruity, hoppy, pretty easygoing yeast with yellow fruit, apple, pepper. Not overdone in hops but they are prominent. Clean, with lingering honey and biscuit. Good bitterness, pepper, stone fruit rind. Sumptuous malts showing honey and white bread. Not tremendously wheat-like in flavor but the texture is certainly soft. Bright hops balance wonderfully. Unusual, but very flavorful, clean and drinkable.

Excited this was available as still a style Iβve not had many from. Cloudy orange yellow with a finger of suds on top. Nose is spicy wheat and floral hops. Tastes of pepper, focaccia, lemon, florals, orange candy. Zippy palate. Bitter hops.
