Sweetish, funky and floral with some bretta, hints of honey, hay, grass and citrus, stonedew and grapefruit. Refreshing and nicely balanced.

375mL bottle, blend #1, drunk 9/22/23. Straw-golden. Well-carbonated, creating a white head of moderate retention. Lovely Brett with a pinch of oak and lactic acidity, base malt-like honey character and other rustic grain notes. Very leathery Brett, not too tart, not citrusy. Clean. Tart, lightly lemony, green walnut skins and soft, gentle but lovely funk. Light white wine almost, with lip-smacking acidity and deep, comforting malts. Tart and juicy notes lingering. Clean and flavorful. Absolutely lovely.

TCBW2025. Hazy orangeish golden colour with a mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is vanilla, some funk, citrus, mild floral and fruity tones to it. Flavour is similar, with funk, citrus and the wooden elements being the most evident things. Dry palate.

Draught at LC member party, 1/19/25.
Hint of haze, with deep bronze, near copper hues and a creamy, off-white head.
Just a knockout of incredibly well developed and expressed Brett. Balanced by rich, honey-like malts with a touch of oak and vanilla. Juicy, tart, full of band aid-like phenols, interesting pepper and mild tropical fruits. Not sure why I only have blend 1 an 8.2 but I suspect I underrated it. Won't be doing that here.

Bottle @ HJ Hansen, Odense. 37,5cl. Thanks to BeerBandits. Pours cloudy Golden orange with a White head. Wood and funk. Bretty, zesty and bone dry. Overripe orange fruit - apricot and honey suckle. Very tasty and rather elegant.
