Kind of murky amber. No head. Big strawberry juice aroma, sweet, a little bit sticky, lots of strawberry, which isn't super natural. The base beer has some mapley sugars. The alcohol rolls through the finish.

Clinton Township draught, 7/21/22. Clear, deep strawberry-cranberry. No head. Strawberry is prominent, by no means dominant, in the nose, with light juiciness, light acidity and a surprisingly light malt character behind it showing strong barley (biscuit) and low alcohol (basically none noticed). Black pepper and a touch of dry caramel round it out. Soft, malty, very well-attenuated, much more dry than the last raspberry eisbock I had. Drinkable, rather than syrupy and super-thick. Sugars are there, but are balanced by grainy malt. No sign of alcohol. Doesnt drink its size at all - not even close. Authentic strawberry flavor with light acidity and rich, but not overly so, pale malt-like character with white bread, honey and biscuit lingering alongside lightly juicy, lightly tart strawberry and light black pepper phenol.
