In the saison style with classic saison yeast. Lots of plum juice gives a ruby colour. Don’t expect sweet from a real fruit beer. The sugar is fermented out to a dry, spicy and refreshing saison character. Perfect for summer enjoyment.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2017, [ Great British Beer Festival 2017 ], London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX.[ As Durham Belle Saison ].Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, pale malt, light wheat, moderate yeasty, candy, sweet yeast, raspberry - artificial raspberry, yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, raspberry juice, artificial raspberry, fruity yeast, pale malt - wheat, light banana (sweet banana). Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20170809] 5-3-6-3-11

Cask at ORB Darlington. Amber golden-brown colour with a reddish tinge, off-white foam head leaving some lacing and aroma of raspberry, yeast. Taste is tart, with lots of jammy raspberry, grainy, sweetish malt, yeasty and earthy. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, fruity finish. Quite drinkable.

Dark maber, clear, thin white head
Aroma of sweet red fruits, mixed fruit jam, sweet fruity caramel
Taste of fruty caramel malts, soft spicy notes, very drinkable, spicy peppery notes from saison yeast work well with the fruit
Palate - medium body, soft sweet, good texture. Finish of soft red fruits, juicy fruits edge of tongue, clean
Overall - Really liked this, one of the most quaffable beers for me on this trip

Cask gravity at Worthing beer fest. Pours murky orange gold with a thin white head. Aroma is pure bubblegum and candy floss. Taste is really sweet candy floss, a little water melon. Not the best.

Sampled @ GBBF 2017, Day 2. A dark orange golden beer with a small off-white head. Aroma sweet fruits, red fruits banana. Taste of sweet banana, red sweet fruits.
