Znovu jsme s naším kamarádem Jakubem z Falkona uvařili pivo z čerstvého hlávkového chmele Eris. Tentokrát jsme na studené chmelení tohoto piva s evropskými chmely použili Mandarinu. Výsledkem je velmi pitelné a příjemně aromatické moderní pivo s převládajícím aroma mandarinek a specifickou vůní a kořenitostí, kterou dokáže dodat jen zelený chmel.

Can via drinks Bubenec. Thin body, feels watery. Med-high carbonation. Almost high bitterness, med-light sweetness, slightly juicy. Lots of mandarina, and little else in terms of hops character. Where is Eris? What is it like? I won't know for now. Overall a bit boring, but drinkable, good but not great.

Can kindly shared by Gurthnar, many thanks. Cloudy yellow golden color with thick white head. Aroma of citrus hops, oranges, tropical fruits, zest, Taste is hop centered with tropical fruits, zest, oranges, tangerines. Medium long fruity hoppy finish.

Can 0.5l. Hazy, deep gold colored. AROMA- fresh apple, quince, tangerines. FLAVOR- slightly sweet, quite bitter, juicy, apple, mango, pear, tangerine, exotic melon, apricot, a bit resinous and oniony. Medium to fuller bodied. Really good.

500ml Can - Murky orange with a white head. Orange, mango and a hint of spice in the aroma. Orange, mango, herbs, mandarin and a hint of spice in the taste.

Tap at Base Camp. 0.3l, paid the 0.5l price, but hey. Hazy golden ody, off-white thick head. Bit coconutty, herbal hoppy aroma. Bit buttery-coconutty taste, lightly meaty, dry, ending bitter. Okay!
