Jaffa The Hut – pastry stout za čiji naziv i etiketu je inspiracija bila lik iz originalne trilogije Ratova zvijezda – Jabba the Hutt.
Ovo tamno i alkoholom jako pivo (7,2 % alk.) punog je tijela i slatko. U prvom su planu naranča i čokolada, a punoći okusa doprinose vanilija i cimet.
Uživaj u raskoši okusa i aroma kao Jabba u svojoj palači!

Can courtesy of Marko, cheers mate 👍🏼. Had this Thursday 3rd April 2025 back in Frank after popping out into Freising for a couple of beers and Fish and Chips. Pours black with a mid sized beige head. Some orange notes on the nose and a touch of vanilla also. Taste following a similar pattern but comes across as very artificial. Drinks easy for the abv, however this isn't really my thing and I cannot finish the can.

Limenka 0,5L - odličan miris po jaffi i čokoladi. U okusu također jaffa keks, dosta prženog slada i pomalo oštar na jeziku. Suhog i gorkog završetka. Možda da je malo više slatkoće i da je kremastije.

Dark brown. Roasty and cocoa aroma, blood orange candy. Intense. Roasty and spicy flavour, bready, a bit harsh. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, creamy texture, smooth.

Can, 0.5l. Black pour, one finger creamy beige head, long lasting, sticky lacing on the glass. Nice on the nose, sweet, slightly roasty, cake-like, notes of vanilla and orange, light cocoa in the background. Medium body, lively carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, soft, chewy, sticky. Surprisingly lightweight, definitely expected more creaminess to it. Sweet taste balanced with subtle roasty bitterness. Aroma of cocoa, caramel, latte, biscuits, cinnamon. Jaffa cakes, oranges and vanilla, whipped cream. Nicely balanced. Subtle roasty bitterness lingering in the background. Medium to long lasting finish, bittersweet, dry, sticky. Lacking body a bit but quite tasty nonetheless. Would love to see imperial version of this.

On tap at Goblet Zagreb. Black coloured, medium sized brown head, vanilla and oranges in the nose. Light roasted malt, oranges, vanilla, notes of cream and light chocolate with sweet touch in the finish.

Canned, 500 ml at Ambasada. Black with brownish head. Dark chocolate, quite roasty, bitter, oranges, sweet. Should work well, but it's somehow messy and not easy to drink.

Tap at Goblet with others. Pitch black body, off-white head. Lovely jaffa orange-cocoa-vanilla aroma. Cocoa notes dominate, light orange, vanilla, earthy, kinda missing body, but the Jaffa Cakes notes are quite spot on, bit more bitter than expected. Still, nice!
