Cask (gravity) @ GBBF 2017, [ Great British Beer Festival 2017 ], London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX.[ As Sidetrack Switchgear IPA ].ABV: 6.8%. Light unclear medium orange colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, moderate hoppy, pine, spruce, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, fruity hops, pine - spruce. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20170809] 7-3-7-3-13

Cask @ GBBF 2017. Pours a hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grassy citrus hoppy aroma. Fruity malty grassy citrus hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty grassy citrus hoppy finish.

Cask at GBBF’17, day one, 08/08/17. Light haze on a golden blonde pour with a decent off white covering that clears to spotting in time, Nose is floral hop, honey dollop, melon, sweet malts, mandarin. Taste comprises bread dough, orange pith, melon, sweet malts, lemon rind, grains. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with moderate hop bitterness. Sippable number but sub par for the style.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is light, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Dry malts, some creamy sweetness. Dry floralness. Dry orange peel. Little hop spice. Trace of apple. Light semi dry finish, It’s okay but hardly a stunner.

Sampled @ GBBF 2017, Day 2. A hazy orange golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of orange fruits, citrus, spruce. Taste of orange fruits, zest, grapefruit, long bitter finish, okay.

Cask gravity at GBBF. It pours hazy amber deep amber with a small white head. The aroma is soft soft, sweet, oily, perfumed, peachy, nectarine, brioche, marmalade, candy and sticky action. The taste is slick, dry, bitter, tannin, woody, leather, peachy, nectarine, tannin, peach tea, drying with a drying finish. Medium body, soft carbonation and oily mouth - feel. Decent fruity action.

Cask at the GBBF 2017. Day 1. 08/08/2017. A hazed dark orange coloured pour with a a loose thin white head. Aroma is semi sweet, spicy, little soapy. Ginger. Flavour is composed of of raw brown bread, some sweaty hop.. Palate is medium sweet sticky, moderate carbonation. Grainy. Ok.
