330ml can. Clear, yellow-ish golden colour with average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Floral, minimally fruity, hoppy and minimally grainy, pale malty aroma, a touch of green apple. Taste is slightly spicy, minimally grainy, pale malty, mildly bitter, floral and minimally fruity hoppy, a touch of green apple, subtle residual sweetness. Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth, soft and silky palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Simple, balanced, very quaffable - not bad.

330ml bottle [as Kirin Ichiban First Press, German version brewed at Weihenstephan]. Clear, yellow-ish, golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally sweet-ish, grainy and strawy, pale malty aroma. Taste is sweet-ish grainy, minimally strawy, minimally dry hoppy, slightly watery.

0.5 l can shared with little Dina at Asia Street Food Pula. Clear golden, medium white head. Flavour is sweet corn, sugar, floral. Drinkable, crisp, some vegetable, some bitterness. Moderate carbonation. Thin, abrupt finish.

0.5 l can - many thanks, Janice! clear pale yellow colour, medium sized dense white head, which lasts for quite a few minutes; aroma and taste of grainy, cardboard, metallic, slight herbal and grape peel/seeds notes; not that bad

Bottle from Japan Centre online, at 4.6%. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of cooked corn and faint malt. Taste is light sweet. Thin finish.

Beer from an Asian shop. Pale gold Amber, very small head. Very faint hoppy lager beer nose. Taste had more body than expected, a tinge of light malty grain sweetness balancing earthy hops. Capable refreshment.

Sehr helles und klares Goldgelb. Die weiße, mittel- bis feinporige Schaumkrone präsentiert sich flaumig und gut haltbar. Der Geruch gibt sich leicht getreidig und grasig-grün hopfig. Ein frischer und spritziger Antrunk macht den Start. Am Gaumen macht sich eine sehr deutliche Herbe breit, die dem leichten getreidigen Malzaroma kaum Platz lässt. Ein Hauch Säure lässt sich ebenso erkennen. Der eher pilsige schlanke Körper wird von einer ebenso eher pilstypischen stärkeren Rezenz begleitet. Die wahrnehmbaren Aromen halten sich abgesehen von der leicht aromatischen und deutlichen Herbe sehr zurück. Aufgrund der doch sehr hohen Rezenz leiden Mundgefühl und Süffigkeit. Im Abgang bleibt eine etwas zu lang anhaltende metallische Note stehen. Dann kommt das getreidige Malz mehr durch. Erst später vernimmt man auch ein bisschen aromatischen und wenig bitteren Hopfen. Mein Fazit: Ein schlankes "Allewelts-Bier", das jedem gefallen will. Nicht wirklich schlecht, aber auch nicht wirklich toll - keine Besonderheit.

Bottle, First Press, label states it's brewed by Weihenstephan. Clear rather deep golden color with foamy white head. Aroma is grains, a touch herbal. Taste is grains, sweetish malts, bready. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Clean and inoffensive.

0,33 l bottle brewed at Staatsbrauerei Weichenstephan. Pours clear yellow with a finger of white medium lasting head. Mild aroma og malt, bread and herbal hop notes. Taste is light sweet and light to medium bitter. Body is medium, slick mouthfeel and carbonation average. Finish is medium, light sweetness with medium herbal bitterness. It has no off taste and It's reasonably drinkable.
