Nostra: The New Story
Nakon što su s lakoćom izveli pljačku vrijedne ogrlice, Lucky, Buzz i Angie misle da su svi problemi iza njih. Ali u svijetu Nostre, opuštanje si ne mogu priuštiti. Problemi im dolaze u obliku Joea, koji nakon batina od Buzza ne uspijeva pronaći zubara, već smišlja kako se osvetiti. Joe, taj stari pokvarenjak, sjedi na dvije stolice. S jedne strane igra igru kao Bossov vojnik, a s druge strane potajno radi za O’Neala. Taj dvostruki život mu omogućuje da stvara kaos gdje god stigne. Tako je postavio zamku za Buzza, čekajući pravi trenutak da se osveti i nadoknadi masnicu na oku i polomljene zube. No, njegova osveta dolazi u drugačijem obliku – otmicom Angie. Joeova pokvarenost i brutalnost stavljaju Luckyja u tešku poziciju. Sada mora smisliti kako spasiti Angie i zaustaviti Joea.

Korištenjem poznatih čeških sorti hmelja, Saaza i Sladeka, dobili smo herbalne, cvijetne i pikantne arome te ugodnu gorčinu u aftertasteu.

Bottle, 500 ml at Ambasada. Cloudy dark orange with medium white head. Malty, some herbal notes, grainy, some weird dusty grainy note, tad bitter.

# 4435; 10/2024. Tobacco, pepper, hebal aroma. Murky straw body; white head. Grainy, tobacco, paepper, spicy. Low drinkability. Definitively not Bohemian Pilsener and with flaws... 0,5 l of bottle shared with Marko. Thx!

Bottle, 0.5l. Cloudy copper pour, huge creamy off-white head, long lasting, lots of lacing on the glass. Nice on the nose, herbal and grassy notes, pine, fruity sweetness in the morning. Light body, soft carbonation. Average mouthfeel and texture, soft, smooth, lightweight, slightly watery. Balanced bittersweet taste. Aroma of grass, grains, tea leaves. Herbal notes, spice, pine. Light fruity notes, bready. Caramel in the background. Medium lasting finish, slightly dry, floral, lingering herbal bitterness. Lightweight and easily drinkable.

October 30 2024. 0.5l bottle, as I promised to try it again. Most people weren't happy, the brewers weren't happy, but some were praising it, so let's give it another chance... Same appearance, of course. The aroma was more on the dank side this time, bit earthy, herbal... the Sládek gone-wrong theory looks slightly more plausible now. Lean, dry earthy taste, dank, watery, again the peppers, flat. Welp... I can imagine someone kinda digging the unusual profile, but whoever said it was true to style has questionable knowledge of how Bohemian Pilsners should taste. Mlinarica usually does far better than The Crap and I'm sure the next one will work! September 17 2024. 0.5l bottle from Ambasada. Hazy yellow-golden, off-white thick head, not too big, fairly fleeting. Unusual aroma, chamomile, bit corny, DMS? Weird taste, chili peppers without heat?!, some bready maltiness. What on earth happened here? Really problematic.

0.5 l bottle shared with Marko, thanks. Unclear golden, minimal off-white head, sediment. Aroma is bready, malty, biscuity. Caramely, lightly fruity, doughy. A soft citrus and herbal touch. Bready, sweet caramely, cardboard flavour, spice, herbs. Light bitterness, flat, soft, abrupt finish.

Bottled 500ml. -from Spicy Days Zagreb. Unclear pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, biscuity nose. Bready, biscuity, grainy and herbal with notes of hay in the finish. So-so.
