A Corn IPA, Aerial Roots showcases Floriani Red, Bloody Butcher, and White Eagle varieties harvested from farms next door to Fonta Flora in Morganton. In typical Trillium style, we dry-hopped with copious levels of Riwaka, Citra, Amarillo, and Chinook to astounding, enhancing effect.

Inspired by a scientific breakthrough, researchers have recently identified specific heirloom corn varieties that self-fertilize through natural nitrogen acquisition via unique Aerial Roots, effectively reducing or eliminating the need for chemical fertilization. This development is a potential game-changer for agricultural sustainability & overall environmental health of the future.

Can from Top Hops Union Square: pours clear gold with white head. Aroma is corn, mowed grass, herbs. Taste is lightly bitter and corny. Extremely clean. Weird beer in some sense but very nicely done.

Fort Point draught, 12/23/22. Clear brass-golden. Medium, staunch, white head. Floral and pine aromas, clean and clear, free of resin or sourness/twang. Juicy yellow fruits. Gummies, pineapple, papaya. Malty, well-attenuated, clean, no alcohol or flaw. Like their recent hybrid IPA series except without the twang. I think I get a little corn in the finish. Nicely balanced.
