Mountains often divide. Separated by distance but united through community, we set out in hopes that our beloved Appalachians would offer a path, bringing two houses together. Made with craft malted estate grain we grew on our farm, craft malted barley from @valleymalt in New England, and hops from the ancestral home of Dr. R.J. Schilling. This lager — inspired by the Zoigl tradition — fermented in our coolship, conditioned and naturally carbonated in tank, before lagering in bottle for months. It’s our modern interpretation of a centuries-old approach to communal brewing. There are indeed mountains that connect.
