Bottle shared with JMD on board Fridtjofen 01.07.19. Ebony. Pale brown head and lacing. Excellently complex aroma and taste of cigar box, pine, dark chocolate, ash and juniper.

0,33 flaske fra taxfree'en på Kastrup delt med medbrygger Ovesen mens vi lager ny oppskrift: brunsvart med fint skum som varer hele dagen. Overmodne solbær og bjørnebær, bitre urter, 70% sjokolader, mørke malter og furunål. Balansert og smaksrik, og med plenty av mersmak.

Bottle 330ml. @ home.[ As Theodor Schiøtz Tivoli Black IPA ].Light unclear dark brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, sweet malt, toasted - roasted, light to moderate burnt, moderate hoppy, wood, light pine. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, dark malt, woody, dry, hop bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20190401] 7-4-7-3-15

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque black with a small, cappuchinoish head. Clearly some slightly citrusy aromas atop a roastiness. Medium body, fairly sweet roast, licorice and bitter dark chocolate with what seems like a finish where both hops and roasted malts contribute to the bitterness. 150219

Bottled. A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of citrus fruits, hops, chocolate, and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, citrus fruits, and hops, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle from Voldby. Black with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, licorice and light hoppy. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. More of a Stout than a Black IPA. 291218
