Boulevardier is a barrel aged Barleywine brewed with our good friends Browar Stu Mostów from Wrocław, Poland. In April 2018 we brewed a double mash Barleywine wort which was boiled for several hours, fermented long & cool before being aged in select Bourbon & Vermouth casks. From that original 2018 casking, we blended now 4 year old Barleywine from those vermouth & bourbon casks with a portion of young Barleywine for a fresh citrus hoppy kick. This harmonious 2022 blend evokes flavours of one of our favourite cocktails, the Boulevardier.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Near clear deep amber beer, good bubbly pale tan head. Palate is light, mildly dry and has a good fine minerally crispness. The flavour is basically all those archive brews from the 190s and 1970s, well the good ones anyway! Smooth mildly caramel malt, a little dark toffee Cooling pine, a mild hop spice nip. Hugely frameshift changing, got a light bright pine and hop sting element over what tastes like it has.been aged for decades

Bottle at home, from one of the Irish on line peddlers whom I can't recall, 27/04/2025.
Dark mahogany brown topped with a beige cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is ripe dark fruits, herb, spice, molasses, toffee fudge, dates, figs.
Taste comprises fruit cake mix, spice, booze tunes, bourbon nip which is slightly more intense than the vermouth, dates, toffee, caramelised brown sugar.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a balanced rising boost.
Solid BA life.

Very dark brown with thin head. Aroma and flavour have a certain herbal, grassy note maybe from the Vermouth. Lots of vanilla sweetness and nice malty body. Oily texture.

Tap at Beergeek Bar. Hazy brownish body, off-white head gone soon. Heavy aroma, citric somewhat, cocoa notes, noticeable barrel presence. Cakey, malty taste, touch of alcohol, dried fruits abounds, smooth, creamy and highly drinkable!

Mahogany with a short head. Deep booze fruit aroma. Flavour is wood and vermouth, dark fruits, quite boozy, warm wood finish sh.

Bottle from Beerdome. Almost black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, dried fruit, wood and bourbon. Flavor is very sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish with lots of warming alcohol. Oily. 260124

Flaske fra Beerdome. Sort med et beige skum. Den dufter af ristet malt, fad og krydret, nærmest paprika agtigt. Den er sød og fyldig med en lidt tær eftersmag.
