Deep mahogany with a short head. Aroma of nutty malt. Flavour is malt and dried fruits, warm booze base.

500ml bottle from KWM Wines, drank at home on 11th January 2025. Poured into an old German glass stein, it looked lovely; deep mahogany, bright and clear; on top a decent off white crown. Malty and semi sweet with a slight caramel hint. Not had a Double Bock for a while, I do enjoy one though.

# 4266; 6/2024. Malty, caramel, light herbal aroma. Brilliant copper body, off-white head quickly disapeared. Caramely, dried fruits, alcohol warmth. Good doppelbock. 0,1 l, tasting board, draught, craft-beer bar, Prague.

Tap at Beergeek Bar for the tap takeover. Clear dark ruby body, off-white head. Full caramelly malty aroma, soft, berry notes, toffee. Sweet caramelly, creamy taste, lightly roasty and nutty, pleasant, well balanced, drinkable - with the alcohol only coming through as it warmed, but this isn't a summer beer, now is it?
