Going back more than a century to Victorian England, many pub-goers ate oysters on the half shell while sipping their favourite stouts. We've taken that pairing up a notch by brewing with 100 fresh oysters to create a stout that is rich, roasty and decadent.

Black beer, tan head, malty aroma. Fla pur is sweet and malty, a little chocolatey and a little bread. Straightforward but very decent stout.

Fra cask på The Bohemia, North Finchley, sammen med Steven aug-19: brunsvart med fint skum som varer. Nydelig, avrundet smak med myke og balanserte inntrykk, her er det bare å lene seg tilbake og nyte kvelden.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2017, [ Great British Beer Festival 2017 ], London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX.[ As London Brewing 100 Oyster Stout ].Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, oyster, roasted, chocolate, sweet malt, dark malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, dark malt, roasted - chocolate, dusty malt, roasted. Did not find any oysters ! Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20170808] 6-3-7-3-14

Cask at The Hop & Vine, Ruislip. A black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate, dark fruit aroma and taste. Not bad.

Cask @ GBBF 2017. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty caramel salty oyster aroma. Roasted malty chocolate and caramel flavor. Has a roasted malty caramel chocolate salty finish.

Tried at the Nottingham Beer Festival 2017. Oily black colour with a cream coloured head. Aroma is Toasted malty, slight mineral. Taste also roasted malty and earthy. medium body.

Cask at GBBF �17, day one, 08/08/17. Light black with a well presented tan head. Nose is chocolate, toffee, earthy fruit rinds. Taste comprises mellow roast, soy sauce lite, cocoa sprinkle, muddy twang, hint of red berry fruits. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Ok stout.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Almost clear brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth palate. Some mild roast in the dark malts. Tangy cocoa chocolate. Modest dark fruits. Smooth semi dry finish. Lot less Oyster tang than I was expecting, thankfully!
