0.44l can. Aroma of chocolate, caramel, dried fruit, blackberry and roasted malt. Pours pitch black color with medium sized creamy light brown head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts with medium sweet chocolate, a bit tart blackberry and mild carob, following is ashy, roasty and a bit coffeeish, mouthfeel is smooth and warm, while finish is mild bitter. Full body, syrupy texture and soft carbonation in palate. Luckily not as sweet as expected…

Dark brown to black, small beige head. Chocolate aroma, cocoa, cardboard with a hint of tart dark fruit. Caramel, chocolate and toffee aroma with a touch of carob. Smooth, not harsh or alcoholic, if a bit thin.

Keg at brewdog Edinburgh. Pours black, nose is blackberry jam, chocolate, vanilla, little soapy, taste is juicy berry, chocolate, caramel, vanilla.

Tap at Zil Verne. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma of coffee, Dark chocolate, roasted malt, coffee, nougat. Taste is very similar. Very good.

Tap at Zil verne. Medium body, medium carbonation. High sweetness, lots of lactose, med-light bitterness. Lots of cocoa, chocolate, light blueberry. Rather low coffeish deep roast. Good, not bad, but too sweet, out of balance.
