Warminster Thing is our smoked corn lager brewed with a blend of pilsner, Vienna, Munich, Beechwood smoked and oak smoked wheat malts, as well as blue corn masa harina. We hopped Warminster Thing with Spalt Select and Sterling in the kettle then fermented it cold and naturally carbonated it with our house lager strain.

Canned 11/5/24, drunk 2/15/25.
Clear, rich copper-to-rusty-bronze. Large, off-white head, pillowy.
Rich smoke and hints of sweet corn. Not bacony smoke, but much more soft wood and the wheat helping keep the edge off. Clean, very aromatic and well-lagered with a very even character.
Smokey with a good woodiness, deep malts, balancing acidity and good attenuation on the finish. Corn gives a bit of sweetness, but there's something quite bitter here; maybe slightly too much so? Otherwise, it's tempered smoke, well-lagered, clean beer and rich flavors.

Can. Pours clear golden, medium off white head, good lacing. Aroma is hardwood smoke, hints of grain, grass, noble hop. Flavor is light plus sweet, medium bitter, light smoke. Light body. Quite interesting

16oz can from Tavour. Golden pour, fizzy off-white head. Malty, biscuity aroma with faint smoky notes. Smoke is a bit more prominent in the taste, other than that just mellow, smooth grains. Bizarre is fast becoming one of my favorite breweries.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear gold with a moderate creamy white head. Aroma is lightly, nicely smoky. Near med body. Flavor is dry and smoky. Some corn and hop, which I can't pin down. It tastes so good I could believe it was from Bamberg on a blind tasting.
