Poured from the tap @ Alesmith (2024 vintage). Very dark brown with small beige head. Tons of smooth creamy vanilla on the nose, vanilla, coffee, and feint bourbon on the taste. Oddly, there's some clash there on the palate. Tasty, but this particular coffee and vanilla combo doesn't totally work for me (I think it may be a slight bean acidity with the coffee clashing with the intense vanilla). Edit: Let it warm up a bit as I slowly sipped on it and the clash lessened - so let it warm up a bit first (raised overall by .1 points to a 4.1 total).

16oz can pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is nice sweet chocolate roast malts big vanilla cream bourbon barrel. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate roast malts vanilla coffee bourbon barrel more vanilla.

(Can, 0.473l, thanks tiong, at VastActiv, 20240802) The beer poured oily and black. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had burnt malts, vanilla, perfume and sweetness. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, vanilla, sweetness, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste had burnt malts, vanilla and bitterness. Nice. Too strong adjuncts.
