(Cask at Lyric, Soho, London, 29 July 2019) Golden amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Wheaty, spicy nose with notes of hay, citrus, bread and soapy wheat. Fruity, wheaty taste with citrus, hay, grass, soapy wheat and a balanced spicy bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Interesting, with a generous wheat character and fresh hops. Quite nice.

Bottle from Vine King, Weybridge. Malty aroma with some cloves and a mix of citrus and muddy banana. Slightly hazy amber gold. Thick frothy white head. Medium bitter, with citrus and spice. But also a chemical element, that I'm not finding particularly enjoyable. Medium bodied. Slick. Average bubbles. Dry astringent finish. However I just spotted that it's BB Dec 2017, which perhaps explains the rancid taste.
