A graceful golden beer brewed with Amarillo, First Gold and Challenger hops from the UK and USA. We use three malts; English Maris Otter, German Munich and the favourite, Belgian Biscuit which gives this beer it’s wonderful toasty finish and beautiful golden hue. This beer brings a wonderful balance of sweet floral notes and a subtle orange finish making it our favourite session beer.

Cask at Brunswick, Derby. Pours a golden amber with a small off-white head. Malts and biscuits in the aroma. In the mouth there are malts again along with some floral hops, apples, and just a smidgen of sourness. Later oranges come to the fore. Finish is slightly dry. A bit “meh” to start off with, but it does get better.

Thanks to Mark! Smooth golden beginning. Dry, malty with an intense dry dusty bitterness. Low in carbonation. Refreshing with a dry grainy golden finish with a bitter neutral back.

Gravicask at Spa Valley 9th Beer & Cider Festival. Shared with Finn. Bright amber, bubbles on the surface, dotted spots on the glass. Moderate floral hops on the nose, mid-sweet. Ripe orange together with bread-like malts to the flavour character. Mid-dry vague bitter end. Satisfying. (Tunbridge Wells 18.10.2019).

Chelmsfaaarhd winter beer festival. Cask in KEGS. Almost clear pale gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and dry and has modest fine carbonation. Dry pale malts, no discernible sweetness do they impart. Wishy washy tangy citrus. Dry finish. Painfully bland and over dry to boot.
