Hand pulled pint (now brewed by Nuttycombe) on 14th December 2024, Crown Inn, Oakengates. Light brown body, off white crust, clean and clear look. Pleasant enough without exciting your taste buds too greatly, subtle bitterness over a weak malty base.

Cask at Post Office Vaults, Brum. Aroma is... Clear light brown. Frothy blotchy white head. Light-medium bitter with a sour edge. Grainy and berryy.. Caramel edge. Light. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Unexciting.

Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. Apparently making a reappearance after 10 years. Pale copper with a scummy white head; simple malty aroma; soft caramel amlt taste with some light fruit; then some herbal bitterness giving a pleasant finish, but lacking the impact usually associated with NZ hops these days.
