Greenock Cut is a historic aquaduct that culminates in a cascade of water in stunning Scottish countryside. The name seems ideal for our Export Scotch Ale brewed with together with the great folks at Salt. Perfect for the winter months with a deep amber appearance. This beer is all enveloping with malt forward flavours of caramel and biscuit. Notes of raisin and honey lay just beneath the surface. With a beautiful boozy warmth, making this a beer to sip and savour.

Rocky off white head left a foam on a reddish brown still body. Toffee, nutty, paint & fruity aroma. Medium to full bodied, foamy leaving a dry clean back. Toffee, roasted, malts, burnt & liquorice tastes with a massively bitter lightly hopped finish. Cracking.

Can 440ml (Alko web)
Ruby colour, small beige head. Raisins, honey and malts in the nose. Medium-bodied. Flavour has raisins, dried fruits, some hops, touch of alcohol and dark maltyness. Ok, right on style.

Draft at The Colmore, Birmingham. Poured a murky medium brown colour with a lasting, frothy, off-white head. The aroma is burnt treacle toffee, boozy alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, toffee caramel, light red berry fruit, warm, boozy alcohol bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Yes, the alcohol dominated but in the nicest possible way!

Can. Beer Central. Clear deep ruby red. Soppy lasting pale beige froth. As Stu says this is a malt bomb. Definitely get why the blurb states honey and raisins. Pretty floral too. Not unlike a toasted teacake thing going on. Taste is sweet mostly with a gentle hop bitterness. Smooth and rich. Touch of warmth. Sweet malt finish. Tasty.
