Bottle from Vinomondo, Conwy. Aroma combines caramel with a woody touch and underlying vege hints. Clear dark amber. Thin delicate foamy white head clings to the rim. Medium bitter. Woody. Berries. Limp underlying malts. Light. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. More punchy than I expected from a bitter but still not very interesting. Like licking a shelf.

Bottle. Color: Clear amber, off-white head. Aroma: Malty, caramel. Taste: Malty and bittery floral hop at the same time. Toast, dark caramel, biscuit, hints of citrus fruit. Long lasting floral and bittery finish. Dry mouthfeel. Medium body, below average carbonation. Moderate sweet and moderate to over moderate bitterness.
