A strong West Coast IPA hopped with Simcoe, Centennial, and Idaho Gem for layers of grapefruit, pine, and sweet orange flavour. Whole juniper berries were added to compliment the hops and bring more pine and resin to the party. Deliciously drinkable thanks to a dry and bittersweet finish.

Can split at the farewell to Monica tasting, Watford, thanks to Fergus 20/09/24. Clear golden with a just off white head that thins to the edge. Nose is sweet malts, orange peel, grass, soft malts, melon. Taste comprises orange zest, grass, pineapple, melon, papaya, hop spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with grassy hop bitterness. Passable DIPA a little flabby and disjointed.

Bottleshare at Chez Frog. Thanks to Fergus for the can. Near clear gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth and dry pale malts, slightly grainy. Crisp pine into reasonable citric hops, quite marmaladey. Grainy dry finish. Not bad in the hop dept, but the malts let it down.

Can from Against The Grain. Clear deep golden body with an off-white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of orange and pine. Flavour of grapefruit and lemon. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Well balanced for such a heavily hopped DIPA. The juniper is an interesting touch. This is clean and excellent.
