Cask at Egham Beer Fest Summer 24. Aroma is bitter with underlying malts. Opaque dark gold. Thin frothy foamy white head. Medium-heavy bitter. Resinous. Underlying malts. Slightly syrupy. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Bitter if unadventurous.

(Cask at Southampton Arms, Gospel Oak, London, 9 May 2024) Golden amber colour with foamy, tan head. Hoppy nose with citrus, pink grapefruit, orange peel and crisp-bread. Hoppy, malty taste with notes of citrus, grapefruit, resin, crisp-bread and a generous citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and refreshing, with a generous grapefruity hop character. Very nice.

Cask gravity at K&ES railway BF 2024 Hazy copper colour. Lasting white head. Maybe a little young from the aroma. Better in the mouth. Moderate bitterness on the finish. OK bit syrupy strong.
