330ml bottle. Hazy, dark orange, amber colour with small, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Herbal-spicy yeasty, minimally bready and grainy, malty as well as mildly grassy and minimally fruity hoppy aroma, notes of herbal liqueur, genever, a touch of marjory, basil, white pepper, pear, apricot. Taste is herbal-spicy yeasty, mildly bitter hoppy, minimally alcoholic, minimally bready and grainy, malty basis, hints of herbal liqueur, genever, a touch of marjory, white pepper, very mild tartness..
Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, dense, soft, creamy carbonation.
Very herbal, slightly bready, a bit disharmonious, imbalanced - not my cup of tea.

Panda at home, thanks to Sir Kenneth of Essex, 27/10/24. Moderately hazed golden amber topped with a just off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is lemon rind, yeast esters, white peppery spice, hay bale, hedgerow, herb. Taste comprises lemon rind, herb, straw, more white peppery spice, botanicals, herb, barnyard notes, yeast esters, orange peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent punchy saison.

A light haze on this gold beer, small tidy cream colour head. Airy palate, smooth, a very mild dryness, decent fine minerally carbonation. Smooth malts, sweet. Floral herb, a trace of citrus, light fruity mustard, floral coriander. Light tangy finish sees everything coming together rather well. An unusual Saison, still very much a Saison but with bells and whistles. Nice one.

Bottle. Color: Clear golden to orange amber, white head. Aroma: Very spicy, pepper and mustard. Taste: Again very spicy. Malty. Starting with more mustard, finishing with more pepper. Light fruity hints of stone fruit. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Moderate to over moderate sweet and bitter. A bit too spicy for me.
