Panda thanks to Cloin. Near opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly tan head, doesn't last. Palate is light and mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Smooth dark malts, a little dark malt cream. Decent toffee that could pass for fudge. Modest fruity chocolate. Light fudge, and choco finish. Tidy pasty and quite drinkable, just lack a wow factor.

Panda at home thanks to Colin. An oily dark black brown coloured pour with a loose mid tan head. Aroma is woody hazelnutnut, praline, milk chocolate, peanut butter. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, spicy nuts, toasted hazelnut, praline cholcate, bitter dark chocolate in the finish. Palate is oily, grainy, moderate carbonation. light tang. Nice pastry.

Can at home, from Beerdome online, 28/12/23. Black with a good sized khaki head that thins to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, peanut butter, mellow roast, toffee, molasses, dark malts. Taste comprises cocoa powder, lactic tang, less peanut butter than the nose, toffee fudge, milk chocolate, light roast. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced kiss of alcohol. Tidy enough PNB impy ... decent balance ... doesn't run overly sweet.

Can. Curious but also a bit anxious to try this one. Pastry Stout is not my kind of beer but I love rhe Drowned Lands beers I've had so far... Color: Black, brown head. Viscous Aroma: Sweetish, roasted malt, mocha fudge. Taste: Dark roasted malt, caramel, mocha and chocolate fudge, some vanilla and lactose. Light hints of peanut butter. Dense, viscous and smooth mouthfeel. Medium to over medium sweet. Light to moderate bitterness. Full body, below average carbonation. On thw sweet side for me peesonally, but well balanced and quite enjoyable. Well done, Drowned Lands.
