Stevig, rokerig en intens. De traditie van Momfer wordt voortgezet met deze 3de editie met als basis een zware Tsaar van Wageningen. Met vatrijping op een Laphroaig én Bourbon ton en een gematigde hoeveelheid koolzuur is dit een bier voor liefhebbers!

Bottle. color: Pitch black, very thin and fast disappearing brown head. Aroma: Peat, some roasted malt. Hints of Bourbon overwhelmed by peat. Taste: Starting with well balanced Bourbon and Laphroaig peat with a roasted malt backbone, but soon the Laphroaig gets the upper hand. Some umami. Some more sweetish vanilla again at the finish. Bit boozy and bit sticky. Very low to no carbonation. Over medium to full body. Over moderate sweet, light to moderate bitterness. Nice slow sipper. Would benefit from a little more carbonation, in my opinion.
