This is our De Scheepstimmerman tripel, aged in Rum barrels for over 8 months. Although the original Scheepstimmerman is still there, the rum has given it a very pleasant sweetness.

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy orange amber, off-white head. Aroma: Rum, spicy notes, some yeast and a bit fruity. Taste: Boozy, overwhelming Rum, spicy, vanilla and bitter orange zest notes, bit yeasty. Over medium body, just below average carbonation. Medium sweet, moderate bitterness. Warming mouthfeel. Long lasting finish. Bit unbalanced. Ok overall.
