Keg at Taps@BCF, 27/12/24. Cherry red with a good sized crimson cap. Nose is tarte berries, vanilla, cherry skins, winter cheer, biscut crumbs. Taste comprises cherry skins, icing sugar, light spice, rhubarb crumble, tarte berry compote. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow puckering edge. Decent well rounded sour.

44cl can from Waitrose & Partners in London. F: big, pale-pink, good retention. C: dark red, hazy. A: blackberry, strawberry, sloeberry, pear, cinnamon. T: almost full malty base with lactose, sloeberry, cinnamon, strawberry, blackberry, pears, light sour fruity, soft carbonation, not bad for sour yet bit crazy combo to me, enjoyable still.

What it says on the label - like drinking a berry crumble. Clear red/ruby pour with a decent white/ruby head. Aromas of (white) bread, red berries, cinnamon. Taste is re berries, cinnamon, sweet bread, biscuits, cinnamon, pear, citrus/lemon. Very nice.

Sample at Stepping Stone Aarhus Together Beer Fest 02/11/2024 Lovely mix of tart and sweet berry fruity on the nose and taste follows, proper pastry crumble notes, well balanced spices in play, medium body and nice tart sweet balanced very compote, lingering berry fruity into the close. Gorgeous.
