Big thanks to Doug, this beer rating is not going to be above average, but hey, I think he gets a kick out of my two’s, hehehee. So, what am I gonnah do? I get this big rat sticky hands IPA from douglass88 and I’m going to hate it, which means, BTW, the lower my score the more you manly, or womanly, or whatever; will love it. Ipa has gone thru this evolution the last 10 years; from totally bastard to masses love it. Its got to be a man thing, I’m just saying. Its finally sunny and 70 here today, you’d think Doug would send me some cheap pale lagers? NOOOOOO, its IPA, big bitter IPA. You know, there used to be commercials round here about a local brew that touted; it’s not the bitter beer, but now, you got to be the bitterest, DUDE! This stuff is so in yer face, its big, its bitter; its like chewing on green grapefruit rind or perhaps gooey sticky pine needles? Not sure. . . But at least they’re not rotten, like so many domestic brews. Yea, this is a real biiterbastard; bullocks! And, guess what? This is from Oregon? The state with no firearm laws due to riots? What – EV -hah. Just take a city block and destroy all property, there you have it. This stuff is so freshly bitter, it makes it hard to criticize! Well, yeah, it is kind of juicy, the contemporary description we’ll say. And finally, it gets to the end of the pounder can, which seemed to take for ever, one big pound of high alky bitterness. I’ll say at least I got a buzz of this single can; at eight-‘er nine-‘er, its packing a small wallop. Big thanks douglass88.
