Keg it pours jet black with a medium beige head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, sweet, milk chocolate, cocoa, earth, ashy, coffee grounds and treacle. The taste is bitter - sweet, milk chocolate, cocoa, charred wood, peppery spice, ashy, coffee grounds, burnt notes and spice with a drying and slightly astringent finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A bit drying and not too drinkable. Doesnt do much for me. Looks good.

Keg @ Manchester Beer Festival 2016. Black with an off-white head. Has mainly dark tasting malts (as it’s only just roasted) in both aroma and taste, with an attached sweetness. This was the festival name for the beer, is also known as ’Chocolate Stout’.
Superb!
