I SMaSH - Citra

Keg at Beer Asylum, Pinner. Light gold/cream, flat and hazy. The scent is bedeck'd with hop, although not necessarily Citra-like. Heavy notes of soft citrus peel (pink grapefruit and tangerine), some pineapple, along with a malty biscuit note and a musty dankness. Bittersweet taste. Doesn't get carried away with the hops, it's nicely balanced and quite sweet on the finish. Very little carbonation to get in the way of the flavour. Very nice.

Cask @ Gas Works Brewbar, Manchester. Hazy yellow-blonde with a small head. Has mildly dirty citrus in both aroma and taste, but retains a good citrus fruitiness. It's fairly strong tasting.

ABV: 5.0%. A lifght cloudy - hazy look, a medium matt yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, fruity hops, sweet hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, citrus - grapefruit, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat.
