Dolores is our beloved Pilsner beer, brewed in honor of Mat’s Abuelita. This beer has a simple malt bill of Prairie Select pilsner malt which is layered with precise amounts of Tettnang and Hallertau Mittlefruh hops that give it a bright and complex aromatic profile. Our pilsner is spicy and herbaceous with a hint of citrus underneath.

Tap at Kraft. I guess it’s time to embrace the fact that I’m at that phase where I get overly excited over a well made, clean and crisp pilsner and get a feeling of 100% contentment while sipping on it. Is this a full circle now?

16 ounce can from Tavour. Bright medium gold pour. Rocky white head. Fresh grainy malt aroma has herbal qualities. Soft, biscuity malt base. Herbal, citrus hops offer a wonderful, subtle balance. The German hop bill allows this tasty Pils to rival the great brews of Franconia.

473ml can. Minimally milky, light yellow-ish, golden colour with average, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, snow white head. Herbal-grassy spicy, hoppy and slightly spicy, pale malty aroma, a touch of dandelion, thistle, nettle, salty cracker. Taste is herbal-grassy spicy and minimally fruity hoppy, pale malty basis with low residual sweetness and a minimally spicy touch, hints of nettle, thistle, a touch of sorrel, coughwort, dandelion, lemon, apricot, hints of salty cracker. OIly-watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally greasy palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Nicely hopped, very clean and refreshing - pretty decent.

Grainy, chlorine, herbal, bitter. Chlorine ruins it.
