355ml can. Cloudy, orange, golden colour with average to huge, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, wheaty malty, slightly yeasty fruity and mildly yeasty spicy aroma, notes of banana, some clove, dried banana, a touch of apricot. Taste is wheaty malty with low residual sweetness, yeasty spicy and slightly yeasty fruity, slightly citrusy fruity hoppy as well, notes of clove, some banana, hints of mandarine, a touch of apricot. Minimally creamy, watery texture, smooth, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium to fine, dense, mildly prickly carbonation. Very clean, focussed, light (i.e. no earthy, grave aspects), highly drinkable - pretty good.

On tap at Ironside Fish & Oyster in San Diego. Hazy orange gold color. Creamy beige ring. Fragrant citrus and wheat aroma. Sweet, bready wheat malt flavor. Notes of orange, clove and yeast. Typical for the style with an accent on the citrus. Refreshing.

Subdued hefe; hits the standards of the style, but never develops much depth beyond initial notes of banana, vanilla, and clove. Strong yeasty note provides a tart middle, leading to a lemon streak on the back end overpowering the subtle grassy hefe fade you want. Pretty, though.

On tap at Abnormal, pours a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out clove, light banana esters and wheat. Flavour is along the same lines, with spicy clove, light banana, and wheaty notes. Constructed well, but not overly interesting. Solid.
