Brewed in collaboration with Manchester's very own Honest Crust Sourdough Pizza, our Pomodoro Gose is a slightly sour, slightly savoury, well balanced and super refreshing beer. Brewed with fruity Italian tomatoes, a subtle hint of aniseed from fennel seeds, and a light, fruity heat on the finish from Calabrian chilli peppers.

330mml. bottle. Tasted on the 20/04/2019 at Runaway Taproom, Manchester (England). Pale golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma is crushed tomatoes, garlic and sweet malts. Taste is pomodoro sauce with garlic and soft basil. Finish is more pomodoro sauce. Interesting that the profile of the beer is pomodoro sauce and no chilli at all. Not a Gose. Next one please!

Tap at Beermoth, nose is orange blossom, honey, citrus. Palate is a nicely done mixture of honey and code notes. Surprising, but nice

[ As Runaway Pomodoro Gose ].
ABV: 4.2%. Hazy - murky medium orange colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, tart, tomato. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, tart, wheat, tomato, dry. IMO: odd and different ! Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20190123]

Keg @ Manchester Beer Festival 2019. Hazy amber-yellow in colour. Tomato was most evident for me with its chilli inoffensive. Interesting and fairly tasty.

Cloudy yellow colour with lasting head. Aroma certainly has some tomato vines and pizza tomato sauce. Bitterness of tomato puree is evident. No so salty. Interesting
