Opaque black brown beer, a few tan bubbles don't form anything like a head. Smooth palate, modest fine carbonation. Rich dark malts, not that heavy but redolent with dark chocolate and that somewhat odd Tonka vanilla chocolate vibe. Smooth finish shows a little spice. Very much a Tonka beer but as much as I am wary of this element, this isn't awful.

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet City Nord. The oily pour reveals a bubbly, tan-coloured, dissipating, head. Spotty lacing. Pitch black body. Appealing smell of vanilla cocoa and berries. Well blended taste of grainy liquorice, coconuts, dark bread and cherry on a backbone of lactose. Mid-sweet malt-driven end, long lived and warming down the swallow. Full bodied. Enjoying slow sipper. (Bodø Panorama 04.03.2019).
