Waxed, capped 500 from Tavour in the Odd Man Rushing snifter. Pours dark brn/blk with a slight tan smear for head. Aroma is chocolate, toffee and some sort of whiskey. Arguably full bodied. Not dry. Lots of chocolate and toffee. Definitely a lot of whiskey. Wood notes can be found. It's a little sticky. Sticks to the mouth! With a bit of time the heat becomes almost unnoticeable. Sort of a chocolate caramel in the finish. Excellent.

Poured from a 500 ml bottle. Aroma is chocolate malt forward with quite a bit of dark caramel, toffee and roast notes. Lighter honey with lighter notes of raisin prune and leather. Light alcohol and bourbon notes with faint oak. Pours jet black with dark brown hues on the edges and a medium sized, thick, creamy, light mocha head that recedes quickly to the edges where it lingers. Medium lacing and long legs. Flavor is fairly sweet with tons of chocolate and lighter roast, caramel and toffee notes. Lighter honey, toasted bread and dark fruit notes. Medium bitterness and medium alcohol warmth. Medium light alcohol with light bourbon and faint oak. Mouthfeel is full bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice eclipse. Nice, very pronounced malt character - very eclipse-like. Light barrel character. Not too oxidized.
