[ As Hophurst Debonair ].
ABV: 4.9%. Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, roasted, roasted - coffee, chocolate, sweet chocolate, almost to me artificial chocolate. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, sweet chocolate, dark malt, roasted - coffee, chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20190124]

Cask handpull at The Ship & Mitre Liverpool. Dark ruby almost black beer. A bit stout roast a bit blackcurrant fruity. Yes a juicy fruity stout with a little charcoal roast. Dry on finish. Ok .

Cask at Craven Arms; opaque black pour with a thin white head, roast malt and chocolate aroma, taste has roast malt, some chocolate, dark berries.

Cask at craven arms.... Deep black.. Thin white lacing... Soft chocolate roast.. Dark sweet fruits roast chocolate.. Soft toffee chocolate nose.. Sweet caramel toffee malt.. Soft fruits.. Soft malts.. Not bad bur something just isnt hitting the spot

Manchester Beer Festival 2015. Extremely dark with a thin head. It’s a medium bodied easy drinking stout with light roasted malt flavours. The liquorice is most evident in its aroma, but you can taste it too.
