For this year’s Treat we were inspired by another treat that has been around for over 100 years. It’s been a favorite to the likes of Chunk & Sloth as well as Carl Spackler. Not to be confused with The Sultan of Swat, The King of Crash or the Colossus of Clout, our delicious & drinkable confection starts with a rich base of slightly sweet imperial chocolate stout and boasts layers of caramel, peanuts and nougat. This one will have the folks next to you at the bar saying, “Geez, Mr. you’re even thirstier than I am!”

Thick, like maybe artificial chocolate syrup notes, some vanilla, wafer. It's okay, but that's about it.

On tap at The Beer Junction, pours a dirty black with a small tan head. Aroma is sweet, with lots of milk chocolate, sprinkles, and general sugars. Flavour is jumbled and earthy, with less sweetness than expected – there’s jumbled, earthy malts in here, not much of a Snickers character. Jumbled and confused.

Can. Pours clear mahogany, medium tan head, good lacing. Aroma is roasty, coffee, maple, toffee. Flavor definitely has a peanut feel to it, light plus sweet, light plus bitter. Medium body.

Can from Tavour. Pours very dark, but quite ruddy against strong light, with a tan Guinness pour. Aroma of chocolate and peanut. Med body at best. Flavor is chocolate, peanuts and somewhat burnt malt. Not dry, but not sticky. There's moderate bitterness. Actually tastes good.
