New England IPA. Perceptionless is a beer that broadly fits into the New England IPA style. The result is huge amounts of aroma and juicy mouthfeel. The beer is naturally very hazy, the idea being the high level of protein 'binds' the aroma into the beer.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up at Cortwridge Wines. Pours unclear orange-gold, with a foamy, white head. Nice aroma, a little dank, with radiant tropical fruits, semi-ripe tangerine and orange. Light-medium sweet flavour with low bitterness, subtle orange rind, more tangerine, mango, papaya, mild pine. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Well balanced finish with ample, fresh and punchy hop character, a nice raw hop burn, more papaya and mango, mellow piney bitterness, orange rind. Overall, this is a very well executed take on the style.

Hazy dull blond colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have lots of citrus peel. Slightly sharp and pleasantly bitter.

Can from Beer District, Buxton, Derbyshire consumed at home Sunday 18th December 2016 Pours gold/light amber in colour with a sprinkling, bubbly white head atop. Sweet rush initially with a good burst of tropical fruit, pleasant bittersweet balance, the bitterness is really good, some sweet orange a touch of caramel. It’s another good beer from Redwillow.
