750ml C&C. It pours deepest purplish brown with a medium fluffy khaki head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, intoxicating, sugar plums, date, prune, blueberry muffin, purple chewits, toasted brown sugars, bourbon soaked oak, toffee, vanilla and slightly charred notes. The taste is smooth, slick, oily, bitter - sweet, heady notes of bourbon, bourbon soaked oak, light tannin, dried fruits, sugar plums, vinous, plum wine, dates, blackcurrant jam, blueberry, purple chewits, warming alcohol, candi sugar and light tannin with a drying, boozed soaked oak finish. Fulsome body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Nice depth of flavour and balance.

750 c&c from the Chico venue. Pours dark golden brown with a slight tan head. Aroma of roasty malt, heat, wood, bourbon and dark fruits. Barely full bodied. Flavor is more or less the aroma with some brown sugar and plum added. Smooth. Heat is not a problem. Very good flavor. Super easy drinker.

750 mL bottle for rating #2,100. Pours a somewhat hazy deep brown with an off-white head. Caramelly/molasses aroma, dark fruit, and some tartness that I almost want to say is a bit like a pickle, but not in a bad way. Flavor has lots of dark fruit (red raisin, green grape, plum), molasses, caramel, touching on oak. Not overly sweet. Strong, but the flavors all balance just about right for a great experience. Oh, and I do stop picking up the pickle aroma after a while.
