Butelka.

Nice peated aromas, not so extreme as one would expect so overall the beer is drinkable and it still has the feeling of a pils/lager. Quiet nice bitterness. What could be done better is the clearness of the beer, mine was totally unclear and this really affected the feeling of a pils, which should be as clear as possible, maybe fultering in case of this style would give better results but still kudos for trying this controversial but great style and achievieng wuiet sessionable peatedness in a light beer.

500 ml. bottle. BBF 05.07.2016. Clear golden, amber, little white. Nice mellow faintly medicinal peat, faintly phenolic, some base sweetness, more you smell it, the more you get medicinal cabinet peat but in a fun way, sweetness balances it a bit. Taste is a bit too much creamy butter for me upfront, orange peel, very oily, Polish may or may not like this much butter some do rather like it but it isn’t for me, medicinal / hospital peat balances it a bit, very oily, oily sweet orange peel. Not entirely bad, strong oil & butter ruins it a bit, peat balances it a bit out, I could have used less & I would have loved it more.

Bottle. Pours hazy amber with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and smoked bacon, with notes of hops and touches of twigs. Bitter, hoppy flavour with clear, intense, but not deafening or disturbing, smoky notes and touches of malt and yeast. Smoky and hoppy aftertaste. The best smoked pilsener I have ever tasted. The only drawback is the rather low carbonation. Otherwise perfect.

50cl bottle. Pours slightly hazy amber colour with a mid-sized off-white head. Aroma of heavy peated malt, burned plastic. Taste of peated malt, mild sweet malt, ash, burnes plastic, heavy stuff!
