For the return leg of our collaboration with Adnams, it could only be one style of beer...an Extra Special Bitter! Layered malty textures intertwine with our expressive house yeast esters and some amazing and super fresh Kent hops from Antony Redsell. Definitely a special one for sure.

Panda thanks to Cloin. A light haze on this amber beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Light palate, mildly dry, good minerally carbonation. Smooth malts, thin, a little cream and unsweet toffee. The English hops provide pine and ripe orchard fruits. Light crispy finish. Standard stuff done very well

On cask at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - golden amber and clear. Offwhite head. Nose - toffee and orange. Taste - more of the same. Palate - close to medium bodied, a wee bit flat and sweet. Overall - so so.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 12/11/23. Copper to amber pour with a just off white head that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is toffee, light sugars, candied orange peel, caramel, perfume, biscuit malts, straw. Taste comprises dried fruit rinds, caramel wafer, light herb, spice, biscuit, dates. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid flavoursome ESB ... especially considering its canned.
