330ml bottle. Pours pitch black with a brown head. Aroma of bourbon, chocolate, maple, coconut. Taste dominated by bourbon, oaky, chocolate, maple, toasted coconut (emphasis on toasted), warming alcohol, bitter toasted/burnt notes. Smooth. Odd toasty/brunt notes aside this was fantastic, barrels coming on a bit strong though, I think the base stout was a tad better.

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingmane, 15/10/23. Pitch black with a fast escaping khaki head. Nose is ripe bourbon soaked oak, fruit cake mix, dark malts, dates, raisins, spice. Taste comprises dark malts, liquorice, spice, chocolate pot, subtle booze, bourbon rip, molasses, toasted brown sugars. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Solid BA impy, smooth and easy sipping.

Tap at Brewskival. Black with beige head. Chocolate, vanilla, coconut, maple. Some slight iron and a very slight touch of tartness which gets more prominent as it warms.
