Pours a clear reddish-copper color with a medium foamy light beige head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Small patches of lace. Aroma of roast malt, fruit and hops. Medium to full body with flavors of caramel malt, ripe fruit and earthy hops. The finish is slightly boozy and sweet with a malty aftertaste. Good Barley Wine all around.

Aromas are malt, fruit and leather. Flavors are similar to nose, excellent balance between bitter, sweet and slightly soft carbonation. Add in a bit of metallic. Super smooth. Extremely drinkable for a barley wine.

12oz can. Rather great Barleywine. American I'd say, with the big hop tone, but enough malt depth to have some English touches as well. Big, but has some great balance, quite clean for the style and ABV. Not unlike Bigfoot. Really excellent stuff.
