Can shared at home (06/06/2019) - black pour with a nice beige head. Roasted dark malty with notes of cocoa, ashy burnt charred malty accents, singed brown sugar, medium body, solid hoppy backing into the dark malty finish. Good stuff.

0.44l can. Black body with a tiny brown head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malts, pine, berries and grapefruit. Taste of coffee, chcocolate, grape seed, grapefruit, berries and pine. Medium body with a long lasting fruity hoppy finish. More like a BIPA than a stout, but still nice.

Can from Hogs Back Brewery shop. Rich coffee and pine aroma. Dark and glossy. Frothy creamy white head. Mesium bitter with underlying creamy coffee. Berries in the finish. Medium bodied. Slick. Flat carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Enjoyable hoppy stout. Doesn't appear to have suffered from having been forgotten in the freezer. Yum.

Can from Boxbeers. Black with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, malty, roasted malt and moderate hoppy - citrus. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. Great Black IPA. 070219

Can 440ml. @ home. [ As Loka Polly Stout Citra Columbus ].Dark black brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige to light light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, roasted, moderate chocolate - coffee, moderate hoppy, citrus, grass, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity hops, dark malt, roasted, citrus - fruity, light pine, moderate chocolate - coffee, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. IMO both aroma and flavor is rather BIPA'ish ;o) [20190111] 8-4-8-4-15

440ml can from Coracle, Ironbridge. Pours black, good tan topping. Aroma speaks of pine, roasted malt, citrus and herb. Smooth on the palate, medium bodied, nice pine and citrus melding nicely with solid roast, some cocoa and coffee hints. Light drying close. Very well rounded good hop presence and a joy to drink.
