On a pilgrimage for immortal craft beer we tripped on some heavenly drops of beer with amazingly overwhelming aromas of chili peppers and more, a thick fudge-like body, pitch black color and obviously only made in limited amounts. And the taste.... furthermore jesus!

A dense tan head on a near black body. The nose is a pungent mix of dark berries, caramel, shaved wood, chocolate and roasted malt. This is one of the very best in the Even More Jesus series. A complex mix of cocoa, dark ground coffee, chocolate fudge, ripe dark berries, a solid touch of hot chilis, butter and roasted malt are up front taste elements. There are balancing fruity hops, shaved wood and ash notes in the aftertaste. Thick and sticky like it should be.

can. pitch dark smooth dark brown head. traditional super heavy imperial stout aroma, tons of roasted malts, lots of coffee, and then add a distinct fruity herbal note from chilies. really nice, brutal yet balanced super heavy aroma. flavor is coffee, roasted malts, tons of roasted malts, faint charred wood, more solid oak, medium broad chili bite (like they uses tons of medium strenght chilies instead of just a bit of hyper extremely hot chilies) end is chili and coffee bitter. coffee throughout the flavor, the coffee is espresso. Long time since i had a proper extreme imperial stout wiouth it being like it has been soaked in sweet cake. much appreciated, thank you, Jesus. bought the can from beergium early 2024. If it is not a new batch, it has aged extraordinarily well

Can, 0.355l, shared with Adriano and Sabrina. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, chili peppers, licorice and alcohol. Pours pitch black color with thin quickly diminishing light brown head. Taste starts with moderate sweet chocolate and rich roasted malt, follows by chili peppers, liquor and red fruit, mouthfeel is warm and spicy, while finish is mild bitter. Full body, thick texture and average carbonation in palate. My Redeemer…

Appearance is black, with a small fizzy dark brown head. Aroma is coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, fudge cake, vanilla, bourbon, boozy hints, treacle toffee, spicy hints, cocoa powder. Taste is bitter dark chocolate, coffee, earthy dark malt, peppery notes, fiery chilli notes, smooth toffee malt, bit of toasted coconut in the background, lengthy chilli finish. Mouthfeel not as full as expected for the abv but still slick and smooth. Chilli kick on the end.

Fairly straight forward ET Jesus stout with some chilli. Light heat, some roast, bit of coffee, medium sweet. All perfectly drinkable, but also tad boring. Might be the age, but I'm used to more intensity from them. Could have more chilli for me.

Fudge, coffee, spicy. The more you drink the more it tastes like BBQ Pringles!

Keg at BD Canary Wharf, 20/11/19. Pitch black with a tan cap that is to edgework. Nose is roast malts, mellow spice, green pepper, molasses, treacle toffee. Taste comprises dark malts. mineral bite, black peppery spice, green chilli, cocoa sprinkle, burnt brown sugar. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close allied to a rising boost and balanced chilli kick. Not bad but felt a little short changed with this one!
